Refund Timelines

We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Below is our visual guide explaining refund eligibility and charge rates based on when you submit your cancellation request:

100% Refundable

Over 7 Days Prior

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the tour start date receive a full refund, including both the deposit (10% - 20%) and any balance paid.

Deposit Charged

24h to 7 Days Prior

For cancellations made within 1 to 7 days before the tour, the 10% - 20% deposit is non-refundable. Any remaining balance paid is fully refunded.

No Refund

Within 24 Hours

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time are considered last-minute. 100% of the total tour price is charged, and no refund is issued.

Detailed Policy Terms

Booking Deposits

A deposit ranging from 10% to 20% of the total tour price (depending on the specific tour type, group size, and booking season) is required to secure your booking. This deposit guarantees your slots, vehicle allocation, and driver arrangements.

Weather & Safety Cancellations

For Jeep and motorbike tours, safety is our absolute priority. If Eco Trip Asia is forced to cancel a tour due to extreme weather conditions (typhoons, severe storms, heavy flooding) or safety directives, you will receive a 100% full refund (including deposit) or a free reschedule.

How to Cancel Your Tour

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@ecotripasia.com or via phone/WhatsApp at +84 766 349 703. The official cancellation time is recorded based on the timestamp when we receive your request.

Refund Processing Details

Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method (bank transfer, credit card, or payment link) within 5 to 7 business days. Please note that third-party payment gateway transaction fees are non-refundable.

Force Majeure & Critical Scenarios

In cases of critical emergencies, sudden severe illness, or medical emergencies verified by official hospital documentation, Eco Trip Asia will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We will coordinate with third-party service providers (permits, restaurants) to maximize the refundable amount for you.
